Design Soup is a collective of business creatives, designers, developers, and consultants whose talents are craftily orchestrated by Founder and Chief Creative Rascal, Jeffrey West.
Jeffrey is a web designer & branding guy. He was born in Texas so he has that whole "howdy" thing going on.
He loves visual design and has a genuine affinity for styles of the 40's and 50's.
He learned to type 65 words per minute in high school which fostered a keen quickness for coding.
He stands on sound business principles as well as size
10 1/2 Vans.
Since 1999, Design Soup has been designing websites and other neat stuff with a top notch team that includes graphic designers, coders, WordPress developers, marketing consultants, copy writers, user experience consultants, social media gurus and print specialists.
Naturally, you're curious to see what we can do and it just so happens we enjoy toot'n our horns... at least when it comes to the brands and websites we've created over the years.
By now you're probably wondering if what we do is what you need. It's pretty simple. Are you launching a new brand or business? Do you want to reinvent, modernize or freshen the image of an existing company?
Do you finally want a professional looking and functional website? If your answer is "Yes", "Maybe", or "Hmm" then what you need is what we do. Here's a little about how we do it.
This might come as a shock but a well designed website is not just about you. It's about how you understand and solve the pains of your prospects.
Our marketing and copy specialists shape your message into one that creates a strong emotional and rational connection between your business and its prospective customers.
From over a decade of experience, we know interactive design. You know it as the web, social media and apps for your smart devices.
We seek out and evaluate design trends and emerging technologies for interactive content and develop ways to apply them in an appropriate and meaningful way. In other words, we view interaction as a tool rather than a novelty.
The best way to market your business or idea is to brand it. Yes, a unique and possibly catchy name is the cornerstone to your business's identity but just as you are more than a name, so too is your company's brand.
Branding is fundamental to design and development of an array of marketing collateral beginning with a logo, business cards and website.
Meticulous attention to detail tops our list of best practices for interactive design. And not just aesthetic details. We get how people use the internet. In fact, our litany of standards is usage-centered which means we always maintain the perspective of the user and the user’s intentions.
We also pride ourselves in neatness of graphics, code and presentation.
